A Heart For A Princess

They blended in, as one they did beat. But one was ripped from the other in sound defeat. Now one is lonely & cannot see, the one that lies there & slowly bleeds. Please forgive me my love, for you must have cause, to break my heart without pause. I couldn't blame you, this u must see, for how could a Princess do this to me? Somewhere I must have made a mistake, to think that my love is all it would take. Can a heart be mended after its shattered & torn, beatin & ripped, wrinkled & worn? What is its purpose once its ripped apart, can a person even grieve with half of a heart? Thats what you left me here in my hand, just tiny pieces like grains of sands. Shall the wind carry it off for noone to find, or will you stand there & watch as its slowly dying? Please don't bend down & try to mend it back, a Princess deserves so much better than that.
